Our Story
With a combined experience of over 75 years in building and construction, Splendid Concreting & Constructions Pty Ltd was founded by Barry James and Bradley Ashe in September 2009.
Initially established as a small concreting company, Barry's expertise as a builder in the South East QLD region and Brad's international experience laid a solid foundation for the business.
Over time, Splendid Concreting & Constructions expanded its portfolio from small domestic bin slabs to larger projects including local council works, schools, property development, and spec houses.
A significant milestone occurred when Splendid was approached to undertake a telecommunications foundation upgrade, marking a pivotal moment in the company's history. Since then, Splendid Concreting & Constructions has continued to grow and diversify, establishing itself as a trusted name in the industry.

Barry James
Barry has over 50 years experience as a builder, holds an open builders licence and has historically been engaged by HIA as a trusted advisor for their Housing & Construction Awards. Being awarded as a judge is a testament to his capabilities and the respect the industry has for his workmanship.

Bradley Ashe
Brad has over 25 years experience, primarily within the concreting industry and also holds a Diploma of Justice. His primary focus is to ensure the operations and administration of the business is second to none in this rapidly changing industry.
